I’m Dean O’Meara.
I live in West Yorkshire, and I’m the person behind Mearovate. I build software around the things that should be simpler, both at work and in everyday life.
By day, I’m a Senior Solutions Architect, designing and running cloud infrastructure for businesses that cannot afford downtime. Ten years of production systems, security work and on-call rotas have taught me what actually matters when software has to work, not just launch.
Alongside that, I design, build and run my own products: LeaveWise, GetOrlo, GetWello, WeekOne and Kerfuff. When it’s your own company, nobody hands you a spec. You hear the support requests, watch what people actually use, and fix what’s broken because you have to. Mearovate applies that same standard to client work.
Start with a real problem. Understand the people dealing with it. Build something useful, without making their day more complicated.

Mearovate brings together bespoke software, websites, mobile apps, full-stack applications, home automation, safe AI adoption and IT support. Alongside that work, we own and run LeaveWise, GetOrlo, GetWello, WeekOne and Kerfuff.
Running our own products keeps the work grounded. Design decisions, support questions and maintenance all matter after launch, not just on the day something is released.
